Alaskan Bush Pilots

It si the extremes of weather in the state of Alaska that make flying there difficult but interesting. Alaska covers an area roughly the size of half the United States. But with only 5,000 miles of paved roads, most of the small communities can only be reached by small aircraft and their unique brand of pilots. These villages more often than not have most of their supplies flown in by aircraft.
