Walking a mile in some one else's shoes
We always seem to judge people by our standards. Who are we to sit in judgement of others? We want others to see things from our point of view, and yet we seem to have trouble seeing the world from their perspective. You might not agree with them, but that does not make them wrong and you right. That is just the way things are in this world.

I totally agree with you on this. In fact I almost said these very words to the Judge at my trial.
