BIcycle commute to work week
This past week, I had the chance to attend a community-wide bicycle expo at the Holland Civic Center where the advantages of commuting to work by biking were discussed. While there, I had a chance to visit some of the tables set up there by the local bike shops. Each brought a sample of some of the products that are sold at their particular shop. I even had a chance to try riding a recumbent trike. That was interesting to ride at the expo, but for my kind of riding, I would rather stay with my upright bike. The trike was just too low to the ground to be visible in traffic.The benefits of biking to work include better health, easier on the wallet, and the environmental benefits.
